My reflections for Introduction to CSS
Today, during infocomm studies lesson, Mr Kent Cheong taught us how to embed external media onto our very own website. This way, the webpage would not be so lame and boring, as we can entertain the readers with images and videos! Formatting web pages with CSS was also something I learned. Now, I can add different colours to the background, change the font type and colour... The website's appearance has became much more interesting! With all of these newfound skills, I am sure that my webpage will stand out from the crowd. I think that I may use these skills in my future job, since computer skills is essential for our jobs.
My reflections on Intro to HTML and Worksheet HTML
Today, in infocomm studies, Mr Kent Cheong taught us about html and CSS. I found it very interesting and I feel that it was really useful. He taught us what html and CSS is, and also gave a worksheet to complete in pairs to test our knowledge and let us know better what html is. I found the questions very interesting and challenging but the html challenge was more challenging. Overall, I feel that I have I have gained alot of infomation on html and CSS thanks to Mr Kent Cheong. And I feel that I have learned a lot in this lesson.
My reflections for discussion on social media, IP and blog/website
Today, in infocomm studies, Mr Kent Cheong assigned us to go to his website, www.webnewmedia.ning.com and participate in his forum discussion. I was assigned to do the "Decide blog or website?". I learned the difference between blog and websites. I also learnt how to create the blog and website and what is in it. I also feel that technology is so advanced that people are too dependant on it.
